The Grand Hôtel was built on Trestraou beach close to the town of Perros-Guirec in Brittany in the early twentieth century, so that its guests could enjoy the stimulating air of the Pink Granite Coast and the invigorating virtues of sea bathing.

The tradition lives on, and the hotel has brought it up to date.
